Tips to Manage Stressful Situations

It might come to you as a surprise that the inception of biological stress is a recent discovery. It was in the late 1950’s, that Hans Seyele, an endocrinologist identified and documented how and why stress is caused. However, stress isn’t something that cannot be worked around. Dealing with the problem in an optimistic way, usually helps in relieving stress. To overcome stress has become easy, if you follow the ten simple steps, I hope

  • Organize your Life

If you feel if your life is out of place, start putting your “scattered” life in to place. Organizing your life offers a sense of peace to your mind. Get to the root of the problem, tackle each problem step by step and get rid of the problem. Remember; always have a very positive approach while you are dealing with your problems.

  • Massage

Everybody loves a massage right?! But did you know that a message is usually a stress reliver. It benefits you in many ways such as improving your health and giving you the ability to tackle your problems in a calm way!

  • Mediation

If you are stressed, meditation is the key! Mediating for 15-50 minutes every day will make you a calm person, giving you peace of mind. Just give yourself some silent time to let your thought run free where you can think of ways on how to deal with your problems!

  • Listen to Music

If the situation for you has become over whelming, take a break and give some time to yourself. Listen to music of your choice, and once you have calm down, think how you can deal with the situation that you are faced with.

  • Call a friend

If you need a break, and you feel that your point is not getting across to any one, or you do not know how to deal with your problem It is always a good idea to speak to a friend who can give you some good advice, or talk to someone who can be an “ outlet” for you. A reassuring voice can put everything in perspective

  • Talk yourself Through it

Sometimes talking to yourself might also help you get to the root of the problem. Don’t worry about seeming crazy, if you are talking to yourself- just ask yourself why you are feeling stressed and frustrated?   Make yourself believe the fact that everything will turn out Okay!

  • Laugh it off

Laughing is one of the best therapies that can help you release stress. Laughter releases endorphins that improves the mood and decrease the levels of the stress-causing hormones

  • Sleep Better

It is a stated fact that when you are stressed, it causes “deprived sleep”. Lack of sleep is the key to stress. The level of stress increases, if you do not catch up on your sleep! Sleep & then think how you can deal with the problem.
